U09 Dermatological Conditions

1. AIM:To equip learners with a comprehensive understanding of various dermatological conditions, their etiology, clinical features, and treatment options, enabling effective management of skin-related issues and informed decision-making regarding cosmetic versus medical treatments LEARNING OUTCOMES:
   1. To identify and categorise common dermatological conditions based on their clinical features and aetiology. 
   2. To explain the underlying aetiological factors and pathophysiological mechanisms of various skin diseases. 
   3. To describe the clinical features associated with common dermatological conditions, enhancing their diagnostic skills. 
   4. To  discuss and evaluate various treatment options for skin diseases, including pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions.

Learning materials include a narrated presentation, a training manual, an e-library featuring evidence-based publications, administration videos and a multiple-choice quiz to test your acquisition of skills at the end of the unit.
