AIM:

The aim of this CPD course is to support learners to understand the significance of Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) and its crucial role in the clinical decision-making process. ​We will also explore how to conduct a literature review and apply academic referencing, critically appraise existing literature, and how to engage in peer reviews.  

LEARNING OUTCOMES:

  1. To articulate the significance of Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) and its impact on improving patient outcomes and enhancing clinical decision-making.
  2. To conduct a comprehensive literature review by identifying relevant research studies, synthesising findings and applying academic referencing.

  4. To conduct peer reviews, providing constructive feedback on EBP-related research and incorporating peer insights into their own practice.
