The aim of this CPD course is to support and guide learners to enhance knowledge and understanding of relevant mandatory and voluntary legislation; and to explore regulatory requirements and professional and ethical standards relevant to non-surgical cosmetic. 

Learning Outcomes 

  1. Appraise the impact of regulation and the role of the regulators within the context of aesthetic and non-surgical cosmetic injectable practice. 
  2. Appraise the key mandatory and voluntary legislation that governs non-surgical cosmetic practices. 
  3. Analyse the professional and ethical standards expected of learners in the non-surgical cosmetic field and how these standards guide clinical decision-making.
  4. Explore reflective practice by evaluating their own experiences and beliefs in relation to the ethical standards and regulatory requirements discussed in the course.

Learning materials include a narrated presentation, a training manual, an e-library featuring evidence-based publications, administration videos and a multiple-choice quiz to test your acquisition of skills at the end of the unit.
