We will explore the causes, presentation, mitigation and management strategies associated with dermal filler complications, empowering practitioners to enhance treatment outcomes and patient satisfaction.

It provides in-depth foundational knowledge for the safe and effective application of dermal filler treatments.   • Introduction to dermal filler complications
  • Classifications of Complications – including onset, severity and ischemic verses non-ischemic classifications.
  • The 3Ps – product factors, patient factors, practitioner factors
  • Treatment complications – including the causes, presentation, onset, duration, risk mitigation, differential diagnosis and evidence-based management strategies
  • Off-license use of hyaluronidase for dissolving HA fillers.

There are no formal prerequisite qualifications for entry to this CPD course. However, it should be noted that CPD courses are not qualifications and may not be suitable for unqualified practitioners.
