Dr Stonehewer is the Medical Director of Athena Clinics UK, a successful independent group of clinics established in 2014 that consists of some of the UKs most well-known and experienced aesthetic practitioners.  Dr Stonehewer has been involved in aesthetic practice and education for over 10 years, first training in Harley St with world renowned leaders in aesthetic medicine. Dr Stonehewer went on to work for a prestigious UK Court House Clinic Chain as a lead clinician as well as an associate clinician in London, before starting Athena Clinics in 2014. 

Committed to patient safety and improving standards in education and training within aesthetic medicine, Dr Stonehewer continues to work closely with specialist consultation groups for improvement in aesthetic legislation and governance. He is currently the Medical Director of Athena Clinics-MD Ltd, offering specialist medical support to nurse practitioner lead clinics around the country. He maintains his medical acumen and practice as a GP Registrar in Exeter and Dartmoor.
