clinicians and educationalists.

At MAP-IQ we are passionate about improving patient safety within the clinical aesthetic sector and believe patients electing to have non-surgical aesthetic treatments have the right to be treated by suitability qualified and regulated practitioners.

Regulated medical and healthcare practitioners are mandated to adhere to a professional code of practice, this includes registrants being able to evidence competence in a new field of clinical practice. Regulated professionals should be open and honest about skills and experience and only practice within the limits of competence.

Here at MAP-IQ we recognise that competence to practice in clinical aesthetics is not assessed or validated in any under-graduate training or qualifications, nor can it be assessed or acquired through attendance at a  CPD course.

With this in mind, and the recent proposals by the Joint Council of Cosmetic Practitioners (JCCP) and the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) for a mandated licensing scheme for all practitioners and premises, MAP-IQ  has spent the last year collaborating with qualification regulators, awarding organisations, the JCCP and sector experts to develop a regulated but flexible route to qualification enabling experienced aesthetic practitioners to formally evidence competence to practice in clinical aesthetics.

“Only the best in this disparate sector commit themselves to better training and practice, whilst the unscrupulous and unsafe carry on as before¨ (Keogh, 2013).

MAP-IQ is a VTCT accredited training and assessment centre for the Level 7 Diploma in Clinical Aesthetic Injectable Treatments so you can be assured of a quality and standardised assessment process.

MAP-IQ provides learners with access to a curated and engaging but simply designed learning platform. The platform includes induction and study skills sessions, together with a range of evidence-based resources and reading materials to support and guide you through each stage of the assessment process.

The MAP-IQs cost-effective assessment route to qualification is delivered and assessed completely online. We offer a flexible timescale for completion with accessibility 24/7 from anywhere in the world.

Our academic and clinical education team, each have more than 15 years of experience in clinical aesthetic practice together with Masters’ degree qualifications in Cosmetic Medicine and level 7 post-graduate qualifications in Medical Education, therefore our team are in an exceptional position to support and guide you through to qualification.
